Join the UK's fastest-selling half marathon as an official charity partner — reach 15,000 runners, a 50,000-strong database, and a community that has raised over £5.2 million for causes since 2019.
Founded in 2011, the Oxford Half is a favourite on the UK running calendar. Known for its scenic route through the historic streets of Oxford, the event draws thousands of participants from around the UK. After 4 consecutive sell-out years, we now look ahead to the race's 16th anniversary in 2027 — its legacy continuing as a prestigious and inclusive running event.
The fast and flat course is a perfect route for both new runners and PB chasers. The sell-out event, with a target capacity of 15,000 runners, places a particular emphasis on charity runners, who have raised over £5.2 million for local and national charities since 2019.
The Oxford Half stands out as a major fundraising event for hundreds of local and national charities. Each year, thousands of runners raise significant sums, making a real impact on the community. With its vibrant atmosphere and inspiring stories, the event brings people together to make a difference.
The event has raised over £5.2 million since 2019 — including more than £1.4 million in 2025 alone across 200+ charities. In 2025, over 3,000 runners took part for a cause that mattered to them, fundraising an average of £630 per page.

Together, we are more than a running race.
We are building an experience and event brand uniquely positioned at the intersection of running, community and the iconic City of Oxford. We strive to create authentic and lasting connections with our running community and charity runners by expanding beyond our event with year-round content and on-the-day activations that are engaging and meaningful to all of our runners.
We're looking to partner with a charity that is as enthusiastic as we are at the prospect of creating a memorable and exciting event in 2027 for both our charity and general entry runners — one that adds value to the Oxford Half and helps us lead the way in innovating fun, engaging charity activations, reduce barriers to entry for charity runners, and maximise the support and stewardship experienced by charity runners in the lead up to race day.
Help us elevate the brand and runner experience, while using the event platform to raise awareness of your own charity's goals, elevate fundraising, and highlight the importance of supporting local and national causes through the Oxford Half in the years to come.

Thanks to the incredible atmosphere on the day, with so many charities taking part, the Oxford Half has grown in popularity year on year — and demand for charity places has grown with it. Because of the event's capacity and location, we've had to cap the number of additional places each Charity Partner can purchase for the time being.
This ensures we can keep welcoming new and smaller charities every year, helping them grow their number of charity runners, even a handful at a time. We'll review the process each year and reassess availability, updating all partners as soon as that assessment takes place. If more places become available, we'll contact every charity partner to let you know.
| Package | Contracted places | Additional available | Total places |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold | 180 | 120 | 300 |
| Silver | 120 | 140 | 260 |
| Bronze | 80 | 160 | 240 |
| Local | 50 | 150 | 200 |
Charities can purchase up to 50 places without buying a partnership package. To purchase more than 50 charity places, a partnership package is required.
Places go on sale via the Oxford Half website from midday Monday 12 October. They're also available through RunForCharity once they become available after the 2026 event has taken place — a route we've found works especially well for smaller charities, thanks to the flexibility of their model.
Get in touch with the Oxford Half team to discuss which package is the right fit for your charity's 16th-anniversary campaign.
